Meet the 2024 Leadership Team

Cindy Ernharth, Co-Chair has served students in higher education as both an Academic and Career Advisor for over 30 years. Cindy is a Student Development Specialist at Harford Community College. Cindy has worked with students in STEM, career training programs; displaced workers, under-served populations, and non-traditional students. Cindy’s role as an academic advisor allows her to work with students from entry to graduation and develop plans for life and work after graduation. Cindy has been a member for MACCA for many years and an active board member since 2012 most recently serving as President 2022 & 23, and Conference Chair for 2020-23. 


Karla M Wynn, Co-Chair 
is a higher education professional who is a writer, editor, and workshop facilitator with extensive proficiency as a career and workforce development professional with six industry-designated certifications. She worked in urban and suburban settings providing career services to a variety of job seekers with diverse backgrounds including urban youth, emerging and mid-level professionals, members of the immigrant community, retirees seeking encore careers, people with disabilities, military veterans, and justice-involved individuals returning to the labor force. The native New Yorker has a Masters’ Degree in Spiritual and Pastoral Care (Loyola University, MD), Political Science Degree (Hampton University), is member Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and served in the Peace Corps in Namibia, Southern Africa.

Eileen Snyder, Vice Chair transitioned from the corporate world to higher education in 2004. She has worked for private, public, and non-profit institutions. With a strong background in sales she started in admissions, moved into retention management, non-profit consulting, workforce development, adjunct instruction, and finally academic and career advising. Now, she is slowly and confidently building a private practice as a career coach. Eileen graduated from Stockton University with a BA in Business Marketing, and The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, with an MS in Organizational Development and Leadership. She lives in Haddon Township, NJ with her husband of thirty-four years,  and two dogs. Two years ago, their family became larger when they successfully sponsored a young college student from Ukraine. She volunteers as an ESL instructor and volunteers for ASSE, a cultural Exchange program, as a local representative recruiting and placing foreign exchange students with American families. In her spare time, Eileen writes short stories and flash fiction.  She has, over the years met some of the best and brightest professionals as a MACCA member and believes it is an organization with ever increasing scope in a world of enhanced technology and generational change. She would like to be a part of that change.

Daniel Bowley, Treasurer is a career services practitioner who currently works as a Career Manager at The Univrsity of Baltimore. Daniel has worked in career services since 2019 and believes in the importance of tailored, individualized coaching experiences and the impact that they can have on clients. He is incredibly excited to take on a leadership role within MACCA and to continue to learn from the experienced practitioners throughout the region! Daniel earned a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and before that, a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Towson University.

Brittany Martin, M.S., Secretary, brings over a decade of experience in advocating for higher education. With a diverse background spanning various student-centered departments, from admissions to academic advising, she currently serves as the Coordinator for Community Standards and Student Well-Being at Harford Community College. In this role, Brittany plays a crucial part in helping students understand their rights and responsibilities on campus, while also connecting them with external resources to enhance their overall success. An alumna of Harford Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology, Brittany continued her education at Towson University, earning a Bachelor of Science, and subsequently at the University of Baltimore, where she obtained a Master of Science.                                                    Brittany is currently enrolled in the Ed.D program at Wilmington University, focusing on Higher Education Leadership,                                            showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and passion for improving the educational experience for students
