Active Lifetime Member Award

MACCA Leaders(Open to ALL Members for self-nomination or you may nominate other members)

The Lifetime Member Award is granted to a current MACCA member for extensive MACCA membership commitment and organizational involvement. The award is granted based on an activity points system. Members acquire points in the following ways (but not limited to): continued active MACCA membership, presenting at conferences, contributions to the newsletter, serving on the leadership cabinet and / or the board of directors, serving on one of three MACCA committees with additional points for taking on a role within that committee. 

Once nominated, the Events Committee Awards representative will email you a worksheet to enter your MACCA activities which will be reviewed by the Leadership Cabinet, Board of Directors and Conference Committee Representations to select qualified Active Lifetime Members. 

All Lifetime Member Awardees will not have to pay annual Membership fees; Lifetime members that remain active with the leadership cabinet and / or MACCA committees may receive discounts at MACCA events. 

2020 Recipient: Barry Davis

A MACCA member since 2005, Barry has also been a PA Member at Large and now handles Social Media. He contributed at his very first conference with a Best Practices submission on Career Decision-making, and has been honored to present at every conference since, both with concurrent seminars as well as the closing keynote speaker for MACCA’s 40th Conference. A regular attendee and contributor to MACCA’s Board meetings, he now donates his time and expertise to our LinkedIn group. Barry enthusiastically describes his involvement with MACCA as incredibly enjoyable and of inestimable value to his personal and professional growth.

2020 Recipient: Jane Nini

Following the completion of her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Towson University, Jane Nini started her professional journey in career development in a Vocational Rehabilitation setting.  Subsequent positions included working in non-profit and outplacement centers with adults in career transition, career counseling and Assistant Director positions at four-year academic institutions, and an advisor role at a technical institute.  The last 15 years, Jane has held the position of Director of Career Services at Elizabethtown College.  Jane has been a long-standing member of MACCA as a  Member-at-Large, Conference Chair, and President. 

2020 Recipient: Constance Pritchard

Dr. Constance J. Pritchard is well known for her work in leadership, business consulting, and career development.  The Pritchard Group, Inc. serves clients in face to face consultation and trainings as well as through her corporate elearning site.  She is a keynoter with businesses and frequent presenter at professional national and international conferences.  Dr. Pritchard has been recognized as a Master Trainer, one of only 37 across the nation, and an NCDA Fellow for outstanding contributions to the field of career development.  She has delivered the Career Development Facilitator and career development Continuing Education trainings nationally and internationally.  Her extensive work with the NCDA includes 6 years on the NCDA Advisory Council; contributing editor of the Career Development magazine; and chairing the NCDA Credentialing Commission. As a long-standing member of MACCA, she has served as treasurer and provided assistance in many additional capacities.
