Jason Green is a MD-based attorney, entrepreneur and thought leader on economic opportunity and the future of work. In 2013, Green co-founded SkillSmart, an award-winning enterprise that empowers communities by providing the skills-based ecosystem to connect employers, job seekers and education providers. In addition to his co-founder responsibilities, Green is Senior Vice President & General Counsel, leading external engagement, business development, communications, risk mitigation and government relations. Before founding SkillSmart, Jason held several positions in local and federal government, most recently serving as Associate Counsel to President Barack Obama, advising the president and senior staff on legal, economic and domestic policy matters. His exposure to local and national unemployment rates, policy responses and the effects on the economy inspired the SkillSmart platform.
