MACCA is a professional organization originally created to support career counselors, hence our orginal name, Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association.  Our new name, MACCA, A community of Career Development Professionals, embraces the entire career development community. Our members work in higher education, private practice, workforce development, K-12, re-entry, and other niches where they support varying populations with their careers. We are dedicated to building community  through relationship building, networking, and professional development education. For decades MACCA members have been serving in volunteer positions to ensure that members of the industry are connected, informed, and offered opportunities to develop and share their expertise.
