To provide a specialized, supportive and diverse organization where career professionals in the Middle Atlantic States can enhance the quality of their skills while networking and collaborating with others in the field. Affordable annual conferences provide an opportunity to hear quality speakers who will educate members on relevant information.

Meet the 2026 Leadership Team Email

Eileen Snyder, MACCA Chair transitioned from the corporate world to higher education in 2004. She has worked for private, public, and non-profit institutions. With a strong background in sales she started in admissions, moved into retention management, non-profit consulting, workforce development, adjunct instruction, and finally academic and career advising. Now, she is slowly and confidently building a private practice as a career coach. Eileen graduated from Stockton University with a BA in Business Marketing, and The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, with an MS in Organizational Development and Leadership. She lives in Haddon Township, NJ with her husband of thirty-four years,  and two dogs. Two years ago, their family became larger when they successfully sponsored a young college student from Ukraine. She volunteers as an ESL instructor and volunteers for ASSE, a cultural Exchange program, as a local representative recruiting and placing foreign exchange students with American families. In her spare time, Eileen writes short stories and flash fiction.  She has, over the years met some of the best and brightest professionals as a MACCA member and believes it is an organization with ever increasing scope in a world of enhanced technology and generational change. She would like to be a part of that change.

Lisa Andrews, Co-Vice Chair, PhD, CCC, CMCS, is a nationally award-winning career counselor and Fulbright Scholar with 31 years of experience in the higher education and nonprofit career development sectors. She received her BS in Psychology from Elizabethtown College, her MS in Counseling & Human Relations from Villanova University, and her PhD in Higher Education from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. She holds the Certified Career Counselor and Certified Master of Career Services certifications from the National Career Development Association. Currently she is  Director of Integrated Career Development, School of Continuing Studies at Georgetown University, and has a private career counseling practice, Look Forward Careers.

Anastasia Lopez, Co-Vice Chair, has worked in career development since 2011, where I got my start in career services and coaching at Western Michigan University (WMU), where I also pursued my graduate degree. After I completed my Master’s in 2013, I moved back to Pittsburgh area where I’m originally from. Currently, I am a Professional Development Faculty Instructor and Director of Career Development for the Dept. of Economics. at University of Pittsburgh and held previous positions as a Career Consultant for the Arts & Sciences, Pre-Business, and Careers Abroad and for UPMC in Workforce Development, helping underemployed populations from immigrants and refugees, veterans, people with disabilities and other diverse groups find gainful employment. I also worked at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) where I had two Directorship roles, one being in Career Services and the other in Student Engagement; I was also offered to teach a Job Search course at CCAC as an Adjunct Professor where I taught until 2024. I am a Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS), a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW),  a Certified Start Smart and Work Smart Salary Negotiation Facilitator, completed NACE Career Coaching Intensive, and a MBTI Certified Practitioner. I am married to my wonderful husband, Fernando since 2011; and we have a lovely daughter named Maya, an adorable son named Santiago Constantino “Santino”, a cuddly black cat named Zorro, and a sweet cavapoo pup named Caramelina. It is an honor to serve on the MACCA Board as Vice Chair and I look forward to meeting other career professionals and practitioners in the Mid-Atlantic region! 

Daniel Bowley, Treasurer (till May 31) is a career services practitioner, currently services as the Assistant Director of Career Services for Arts & Science Students at Towson University, previously serving as a Career Manager at The University of Baltimore. Daniel has worked in career services since 2019 and believes in the importance of tailored, individualized coaching experiences and the impact that they can have on clients. He is incredibly excited to take on a leadership role within MACCA and to continue to learn from the experienced practitioners throughout the region! Daniel earned a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and before that, a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Towson University.

 Andrea Horton‑Meriçli Assistant Treasurer (to May 31) /Treasurer (June 1) is a talent acquisition and workforce development professional at the University of Pittsburgh, where she advances inclusive hiring strategies and strengthens diverse talent pipelines. She brings 15+ years of experience in career services and workforce development, spanning higher education, nonprofit leadership, K–12 education, and consulting. Andrea is the Founder of Diversifuse, a consulting firm dedicated to cultivating cultures of belonging and equitable career growth. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Business from the University of Texas at El Paso, an Alternative Teacher Certification from Huston‑Tillotson University, and a TEFL certification from ITTT, and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics at the University of Pittsburgh. Shaped by her lived experience as a mixed‑race Latina and first‑generation student, Andrea is deeply committed to advancing opportunity and equity for immigrant, Latinx, and historically excluded communities. 

Megan Scott, Secretary, Is a Student Development Specialist at Harford Community College, with an Academic Advising Master's Degree  and starting her Ph.D. studies in Advising. Both at Kansas State University.  Megan earned her associate's degree from Harford Community College and Bachelor Degree from Towson University, both degrees in Psychology. I have two dogs, a Maltese named Lily and a Corgi named Alfie. I have worked for Harford Community College for 10 years. I have published two articles in academic advising journals. Besides meeting with students one-on-one, she serves as the transfer school admissions representative to schedule transfer school events on campus.

Karla M Wynn, 2025 Past Chair is a higher education professional who is a writer, editor, and workshop facilitator with extensive proficiency as a career and workforce development professional with six industry-designated certifications. She worked in urban and suburban settings providing career services to a variety of job seekers with diverse backgrounds including urban youth, emerging and mid-level professionals,  the immigrant community, retirees seeking encore careers, people with disabilities, veterans, and justice-involved individuals returning to the labor force. The native New Yorker has a Masters’ Degree in Spiritual and Pastoral Care (Loyola University, MD), Political Science Degree (Hampton University), is member Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and served in the Peace Corps in Namibia, Southern Africa.
